International information systems as elements of the information society

The article conducts a comprehensive analysis of international information systems as elements of the formation and gradual development of the information society. The historical stages of the emergence and formation of international information systems are indicated and disclosed, as well as certain differences between international and conventional information systems are outlined. In addition, attention is paid to classification and functional features. The article emphasizes certain problems that arise in the process of functioning of this phenomenon, in particular the issue of regulatory regulation. The concept of information society is also highlighted and its key characteristics are analyzed, namely the dominance of information as a strategic resource, due to the growing role of innovative technologies. The author emphasizes the importance of international information systems as a fundamental basis for the functioning of the information society, which contributes to the development of interstate cooperation. In particular, it is highlighted that currently there are different models of the information society, and their differences are also noted. The article pays special attention to the study of varieties of international information systems and their practical significance for ensuring international stability. The article comprehensively explores the theoretical aspect of the mentioned topic and outlines issues that create certain gaps and require clear and sufficient regulation.
